Where do I begin?
I came to Arizona on a 1 year research trip from Ireland in September 2010, during my first few weeks here I came across an animal rescue site (AZ rescue) and laid eyes on Sadie for the first time, she was picked up as a stray, a small Daschund and (what I think) Chihuahua mix. Needless to say my heart ruled my head and I adopted her immediataly. Since that time, Dr. Berthiaume has cared for Sadie as if she was his own, frequently asking after her and about her health.
When I made the decision to move Sadie back to Ireland with me, Geoff was immediately on board and took care of all the regulations and requirements for bringing a pet to Ireland from the U.S. (and avoid the 6 month quarantine!) not many vets would be willing to take on such a huge task but this testifies to his "can do" atitude and willingness to help others. The entire team of Topaz is extremely diligent, friendly and always willing to lend advice on situations, and never afraid to just shoot the breeze with customers.
Topaz Veterinary Clinic is one of the things I'll miss most about America, and I've no doubt I'll find vets back home in Ireland fall far short of the high standard of animal care they have set for me and Sadie.
I know this sounds like an ad or something, but honestly, if you are looking for top of the line care for your animal, place your trust in Topaz, and you won't regret it - not even for a minute.
