Traci
Practice ManagerTraci was born in Illinois and moved to Arizona when she was 4. She has always had a love of animals and a passion to help improve their lives. Traci attended Pima Medical Institute and received her certification in 2009. She started working at Topaz in 2010. Traci left Topaz in 2019 and worked at a veterinary diagnostic lab prior to returning to Topaz in 2020. Traci currently has a feisty Siamese cat named Ember. In her free time she enjoys reading, being outdoors, and traveling.
Genesis
Veterinary Technician/ScribeGenesis was born and raised in Arizona. She graduated from ASU in 2015 with a Bachelors in Biological Sciences. Genesis has always loved helping people and animals, and she really enjoys being able to do both in the veterinary field. She has been with Topaz since 2014. Genesis owns a very cute Bichon named Bentley. She also has a turtle named Hubert. She loves all things Disney, especially going to Disneyland.
Katie
Veterinary TechnicianKatie was born and raised in Tempe, AZ. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 2015 and has been with Topaz since 2016. Before being a veterinary technician she was a preschool teacher, but she always knew that she ultimately wanted to work with animals. Katie has two Chihuahua’s named Parker and Sophie, as well as two cats named Miss Kensington and Veto Danger. In her free time she enjoys baking, dancing, watching reality TV and sports, as well as hiking and fishing.
Charlene
Lead Veterinary TechnicianCharlene was born in California and moved to Arizona when she was 7. She has always had a passion for animals and had a variety of different creatures growing up. Charlene graduated from Anthem College in 2014 with an Associate's of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology and became a Certified Veterinary Technician. Charlene has been with Topaz since July 2018. Charlene currently has 2 Labs named Raven and Omelet, as well as a German Shepherd Mix named Athena and a Belgian Malinois mix named Astraea. In her free time she enjoys hiking, fishing, video games, and anime with her husband. She dock dives all 3 of her Labs and is a member of Arizona Dock Dogs Club.
Celeste
Certified Veterinary TechnicianCeleste was born and raised in Arizona and has been around animals her entire life. Animals bring her incredible joy and she is the proud owner of 5 cats, 1 dog and several snakes. She graduated from the veterinary technician program with her Associate’s Degree at Pima Medical Institute and has since gone on to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Her goal is to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in zoology from Grand Canyon University, and she would eventually love to work with wild animals at a zoo or sanctuary in Oregon.
Leslie
Veterinary TechnicianLeslie was born and raised in Tempe, Arizona. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 2017 as a Certified Veterinary Assistant. Since being in the veterinary field she has developed a passion for dentistry and senior pet care. She has 3 dogs, and one feisty cat at home. In her free time, she enjoys playing video games, watching Disney movies, and traveling.
Grant
Veterinary AssistantGrant is originally from Colorado and has been in the veterinary field since 2018. Grant has been with Topaz since 2019. He has 3 dogs, as well as various reptiles and amphibians. In his free time, Grant enjoys hiking, going to concerts, reading, writing, and community activism.
Sean
Veterinary AssistantSean was born and raised in Chander, Arizona. He began his career in the veterinary field at Topaz in October 2023 and is currently deciding on continuing his education. Since being in the veterinary field, he has developed an interest in the medical side of pet ownership. He has 3 cats and a bearded dragon. In his free time, he enjoys working on his car.
Staci
Lead CSRStaci was born and raised in Arizona and grew up in Scottsdale, where she attended school before beginning her career in the legal field and later working for a psychologist. When Topaz opened its doors in 2010, she took on the role of leading the front office. Staci enjoys helping clients care for their pets and ensuring they feel supported every step of the way. Staci has two pups Daisy and Ellie, and Rufus the cat. In her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and volunteering at various events throughout the state.
Dakota
CSRDakota was born and raised in Mississippi and moved to Arizona in her early twenties. She has always had a passion for animals and knew she wanted to work with them since childhood. Dakota has been with Topaz since June 2025.
Meghan
Veterinary AssistantMeghan was born and raised in Chandler, Arizona, and graduated from the University of Arizona in 2024 with a Bachelor’s in Veterinary Science. She joined Topaz in June 2025. In her free time, Meghan enjoys volunteering at a horse rescue, drawing, and playing video games. She has a Jack Russell Terrier named Cooper. Meghan's future goal is to become a veterinarian and provide care to Spanish-speaking communities, combining her passion for animals with her commitment to accessibility in veterinary medicine.
Taylor
CSR/Veterinary AssistantTaylor was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Arizona in 2018. She started working at Topaz in 2024 while earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine at Arizona State University. On her days off, she volunteers at the humane society, socializes with friends and family, and has 2 Yorkies who keep her occupied. Since being involved in the veterinary field, her dream is to become a wildlife or multi-species travel veterinarian.
Kaylee
Veterinary AssistantKaylee was born and raised in Arizona. She attended the veterinary technician program through Pima Medical Institute and is currently studying for her certification exam. Kaylee joined Topaz in March 2025. She has two cockatiels named Kevin and Palomita, and two dogs named Cookie and Gordo. She enjoys going to the gym, hiking, and watching horror movies.
